Description
The Touratech Destino Touring 2 HDry motorcycle boots combine maximum comfort during travel with field-tested robustness. Because of this concept, they are absolutely made for the versatile requirements of adventurers who like to spice up their tours with gravel sections of roads. Thanks to the refinement of the leather using advanced laminate technology, the latest generation has even better breathability and is also waterproof at the same time.
Leather laminate instead of membrane
The most important innovation in this versatile device is moisture protection. The Destino Touring 2 HDry boots are made using the distinctive, especially high-quality HDry leather laminate from which they got their name. The advantages are obvious. While the loose membrane in cladding constructions is always subject to a certain amount of movement between layers as well as the associated tensile and frictional forces, in an HDry leather laminate, the membrane and the outer material are inseparable. Water cannot penetrate between the skin and the membrane, there are no seams prone to changes, and the stress on the material is significantly lower. In addition to significantly greater robustness, this leather laminate upgrades the Destino Touring 2 HDry boots, primarily through noticeably improved breathability.
Elaborate security concept
This boot has an elaborate safety concept, with a robust sole, shin and ankle protectors, a double layer of leather on the heel and forefoot, as well as heat protection on the inside of the leg. Triple fixation, using tightly screwed clips, guarantees a secure fit. Certification according to the latest CE standard guarantees a protective effect.
Comfortable and practical
Although equipped with robust protectors, the Touring 2 HDry boots are extremely comfortable to wear. In addition to the HDry leather laminate, the Air-Pump insole contributes to a pleasant climate inside the boot thanks to efficient air circulation. The possibility of a wide opening along the entire length of the boot makes putting on and taking off particularly easy. When closed, the Touring 2 HDry boot is extremely thin, so wearing it under trousers works well. The width of the boot can be individually adjusted with velcro straps and adjustable lockable buckles. Flex zones ensure good mobility of the ankle joint. The flat-cut forefoot provides a good feel for the shift lever, while generous reinforcement of the affected area during gear changes protects the boots from wear. As a clever addition, the Touring 2 HDry, like all boots in the Destino family, has a retractable stainless steel cable to protect it from theft.
